    Great find, Miette, and superb reading as usual. This story reads like a roman à clef to your podcasts. But maybe I’m reading too far into it.

    chopping onions and listening (hadn’t in a while so there’s a nice thick backlog but terrified Ill run out by the last onion – flap gums soon – I have things to do!) If you love Carol Emshwiller there’s a good chance you’ll luhuhuoooove the below. More tough and Russianoid which is a special taste, but nevertheless.

    I don’t know it, but it looks right up my dark alleys. To be procured, with gratitude!

    (And yes, I think Carol Emshwiller, Susan Daitch, and Kelly Link are some sort of great unbeatable trifecta in women’s letters in America, with a lot of others edging in. It’s a good time for ladywriting, that’s for sure)
