I often wonder, what drives someone like Miette to so selflessly give of thier time in order to simply improve the quality of a strangers day - just because they can. So thank you - most sincerely Miette. I have subscribed to your podcast, for about 2 months now, and as I have been slowly (and indeed rapidly sometimes) travelling back in time through cast-time, I have noticed a certain trend toward an increacingly more professional production. Such a trend is very welcome and greatly appreciated, however I urge you to understand that there are certain qualities to your cast that should not be 'improved' upon. For example - your clear loathing os editing is a god-send! the occasionally mis-read line, punctuated by a gigle brings a human touch which is al too often lost in so many over-produced soul-less productions. The occasional yap of your dog... the wail of a distant siren or the burble of background conversation all add to the comfort and magic. I'll admit that the buzzing mobile phone interfearance finds me reaching for my phone in anticipation of a call, which can be distracting, maybe I'm too highly strung?? nevermind that. So - in answer to a a question you posed some time ago... what do your listenesr do whiclt listening to your casts... well, mostly they punctuate my day, as advertised - a bedtime story, however, yesterday, you accompanied me for 10 Hours on a flight from Seoul to London - the only way to travel!
